    Magenta Dots DC250

Hi there, I am having this little dots when I print A3 format, what can cause that, the drums are brand new, the fuser also, the magenta developer with the tank is also new. I have opened the transfer belt to see if there is any mark there but no, so I dont have a clue where to look. Any suggestions.

when u print just wait machine run for few seconds eg 5 to 8 sec then u open the front door of the machine to chk the cq and confirm problem lies from ibt belt image or after ibt image?if cq defects happen at ibt image the problem lies to ibt ,drum and 1st transfer .

Stop it a bit faster and check drum, and IBT.
You can also notice that the same dots are repeating. What's the distance between same dots?

I did as you sad so, I opened the IBT and the dots where there, then i opened the magenta drum and I have noticed those small dots on the green roller so they are coming from drum, What could have caused do damage the drum like that, it has not been a while since i have changed the drum, it is brand new, can it be from the developer, i have changed it recently, the magenta developer tank and the developer.?

Did you try to clean those dots from drum? Or it's physical damage ?

For cleaning you can use cotton cloth with some water. It's not so sensitive!
For chemicals you can try metal polish liquid.

check b&w copy do you see the dots? if you don't then it cant be the itb or the transfer roller then check the magenta charge roller or there may be a dot on there or the drum. try cleaning with water or alcohol and a cotton rag or cotton ball, if on the drum or charge roller and wont come off then a new image unit is required.

                        good luck

Tis model drum is OPC type hard to clean and cause of wear of drum got few reasons .customer environment like room temperature cause developer material or toner hardened ,i suggests try to use coffee filter to filter hardened developer or replace new toner Cartdrige .

Well guys I have tried cleaning the both rollers on the drum unit, but the small dots where still there, it seems it is damaged and cannot be removed, so thanks for all suggestions, i have another question, what could have caused to take damage like that, it is a brand new drum, i have printed maybe around 200-300 prints not more, so i am trying to find what caused that, i doubt in developer, but I don't know so if anyone had this kind of problem and find it where it came from maybe could share with us.

Contaminated toner in the developer housing. Remove toner cartridge and replace developer material
