    WCP 35 HC

Had a customer call me to consider taking over the service on a xerox wcp 35 hc. Just looking at it I figured I will need a pws laptop. I have had limited experience with the pws. My question is how much can I do (as far as regular service) without it to make a service contract workable on this machine, before I have to call xerox.

I work on lots of these. Very easy box. I have yet to use my pws for one. I can strip one to frame and back in about 1.5 hours. Partsdrop is awesome for support. Go make some money!

Good tip, after talking with "Partsdrop" about this machine they indicated that the CCD bd failure is the most expensive and a fairly common problem with this machine, as related to service time and parts cost. Is this your experience? if so I will incorporate this cost into my service quote.
