Check connectors on Halftone PWB if ok then replace Halftone PWB.

        Manuals 4 You - Copier-Printer-Fax Manuals etc

        Paul have this SM
But if you need to replace halftone pwb you will need laptop with xerox pws and diagnostic software for this machine because when replace halftone PWB you need to do serial number sinhronization.

This can be done only with DC 12 diagnostic software.

if i remember good, check fuse F4 on power distribution PWB,
if this fuse is blown machine will show 14-376 fault code.

if fuse is ok, as i told you check connectors on halftone PWB.

If your machine have scanner then you have to remove it, then remove one metal plate and then near ROS unit you have halftone, VSEL and VSEL extension PWB.

If machine do not have scanner then just remove side covers, then top cover and plate and you will see Halftone PWB.

                    160K46352 HALF TONE PWB

but remember when replacing this PWB you must have laptop with xerox pws so you can done serial number synchronization.

even if you get new pwb you will get error when install it.

Ok.. I´ll have to call the Xerox service then, but at least I know where the problem is. You don´t believe how dum are the xerox technicians here in Brazil for DC12. THANKS AGAIN!

                        xcopytech,

I found the HALF TONE PWB. checked the connections but no results. 13-376 code still there...
Do you know how much the HALF Tone pwb cost in US? And where to buy it? Here in Brazil I cant find it with Xerox. I have a lot of cousins in US and I travel a lot to US, so I could buy it and ask the Xerox technician (with the laptop) to change it. First I will call him to see if he can do anything with the laptop and everything.. but I doubt it.

The Xerox Technician said it´s the laser (62K10670) Do you think that´s possible? Does anybody here sells DC12 parts?

As you can see in fault code description which I post earlier, could be a ROS.

I had not such problem at any of my dc 12 machines.
Had problem with fuses on power distribution pwb (back side of machine).

Also if xerox tech follow rap and check voltage on connectors, then he find that ROS is faulty.

But please check fuses once again.

ROS is the laser or is the Half tone PWB? And about the fuses just a "eye" check it´s enough or I need to do a multimeter test?

He said it can be 62k10670 or 160k74412 part... then he did some laptop tests and said it´s more likely to be the laser (62k10670).
