    DC240 Fixing Issue

    Hi Everyone,

my DC240 can't fixing black toner on plain paper with plain settings. If I print higher coverage than text the black toner not fixed. The problem comes with BW and Color mode too, and even with Xerox test pages. I tried to change the fuser but it not solved the problem.

Please see the illustration pictures here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1166741...eat=directlink

Please let me know if somebody has experience with this problem! Thanks a lot,
    Norbert

    1. Are you using genuine toner?
    2. What fuser did you try? Was it new or used?
    3. What is the media? Sometimes humidity of the paper could be too high, try different ones.

      Hello Tinochka,

thanks for fast reply! I use genuine Xerox toners and I tried with a fuser what I got from an other machine which is working very well. The other machine also works with my fuser well.

The only causes are the media or wrong nvm.

I did it. With same result. It's a long issue, we fight them about 2 months. The room where the machine stayed is well conditioned. The paper stocks are in the same room. We don't have problem any other media (even with 300gsm card stock) just with plain papers.

Can you help me which nvm values are affected with paper settings? Can I change them in UI without PWS?
          Thanks!

For me looks like you have too much toner on the paper. High colours densities.
First try to do MaxSetup adjustments.

yes, this is the other issue with my machine. All colors has too high density. I hope the density adjustment will help me in fixing issue too. I will try it and refer you on Monday.
