Re: Xerox Docucolor 5252 hard drive
A Little Late But
you DO NOT have to Remove HDD in the Machine
Just tell the creo to burn the Jobs in the Queue
And if your worried about scan memory
Scan a whole bunch of red sheets of paper intill the memory is at 100 percent
then only a serious nut Hdd wizard will be able to retrieve left over data if any

Re: Xerox Docucolor 5252 hard drive
For the controller ie Creo there are only the 3 hard disks which you saw . On th the machine i believe there are four more hard disks. you can loctae those in PL19.6 IIT electrical box like adriansto said to be on the safe side if you are looking at top secret info its better to remove the IOT boards as well.
Thanks for the help. I was in the right area but guess there must be some more panels to remove.Leave a comment:

Re: Xerox Docucolor 5252 hard drive
Hate to make my first post a "help me" one but here it is anyway:
I'm working on a Gov. Xerox Docucolor 5252 and am trying to find and/or determine if this copier has a hard drive so I can remove it.
We found 3 in the Creo CXP6000, does the main unit have any more? If so, where are they hiding?
Thanks,
Charlie
Call Xerox and pay them for this task !Leave a comment:
