    Phaser 6110, voids in black...

Phaser 6110. Remote located customer, I have not yet seen the machine myself yet. There are voids in the black. See attached scans. Any hints before I go there please?

    Thanks

The easiest way is to change the Imaging Unit.
The reason for this print quality defect is the lack of toner in the black developer housing and/ or
the presence of soot on the edge of the metal blade of the black developer roller.
It is necessary to disassembly the Imaging Unit.
Pulled out all the toner cartridges.
        Remove Waste toner container.
Watch out for the yellow developer housing spring.
        Keep the drum.
Pulled out all 4 developer housings.
The black developer box is below. You must remove the metal lid of the black box.
Carefully clean the edge of the metal blade of soot.
Check that the toner in the box. Probably not enough. Manually add toner from toner cartridge.
Carefully reassembly the black box in the reverse order.
Adjusted well seals at both ends of the cover and pressed them gently with tabs.
Gently shake the box and rotate the roller to verify that the toner is distributed evenly on it.
If the seals are not placed well at both ends of the roll will have more toner.
This will lead to dark bands at the edge of the sheet.
If everything is ok reassembly the Imaging Unit.
Do so at their own risk.
        Thats all.
