Re: WC 5687 ROS Motor Fail 06-020
So here's the full download. Original problem, paper jams from all tray's. When using Tray 1 it would stop at the Tray 1 Transport Roll with a 08-100 code, and sometimes the 06-020. When using Tray 2 it would stop at the Tray 2 Transport rolls with an 08-106 code. Same thing for Tray 3 and 4. When using Tray 5 it would stop as it just entered the copier, don't remember the code it was giving. When using the Bypass tray it would only feed and inch or 2 in befor it would jam. Sometimes it would give the 06-020 code, but not all the time. So found a worn gear on the Registration Feed path, that covers some of the problems, but not all. While troubleshooting the machine today I started receiving a Power Supply fault, don't remember the code. So I put in a new LVPS, and registration feed assembly and it works fine now. It looks like most of the problems I was having was due to the 24VDC from the LVPS was bad. I did use the LVPS tester that Xerox had fielded for the Field Tech, and it showed the LVPS as good, but I don't think it puts the voltage under a load.

WC 5687 ROS Motor Fail 06-020
I've got a WC 5687 that is giving intermittent ROS Motor Fail Code 06-020. I've replaced the ROS and the ROS wiring harness. What else could be giving this fault? It only seems to appear when trying to make using the machine.
