Xerox WC 7120 fuser reset

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to reset the fuser replacement warning without replacing the fuser, and does the machine shut down if the yields are met. A customer has one with the black drum and fuser are past life and the machine will not let them scan, the box comes to ready but no green print button.
