[Dead] Xerox 4150 "Please Wait....Machine self test in progress" is displayed.

Xerox 4150 "Please Wait....Machine self test in progress" is displayed.

1. Removed the memory a few times still displays the same thing.... "self test"
2. Disconnected the hard drive then displays... "System Unavailable"

Seen a few post about removing the battery. (unsolder the battery is what they meant)
Then shorting CN27??? is that right.

Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

After restoring machine functionality go to firmware upgrade

I am getting 5vDC at CN27 at pins 20,21,22,25,26...

but the voltages for 24vDC on CN27 don't seem right nothing at pin 2 and pin 10

Changing power supply tomorrow see if i get what the manual says im supposed to be getting on every pin. Don't know if its supposed to be
active high or active low - Active 24vDC or Standby 24vDC
