The network controller does not need to be activated with a code. Its a standard feature of the machine.

it has all the hardware there but says network controller not enabled
it requires a passcode to enable it

Sorry, I never heard of a WC5765 asking for a network activation code.

I wold recommend doing a forced AltBoot first.

Upgrade from Copier to Multifunctional machine is a payable option.
You pay and you get the activation code only from Xerox

I knew the 56xx had different versions (stand alone copier and Copy/Scan/Printer). I never came across a stand alone 57xx but checking out the standard features vs optional features at xerox.com, that is how they come if you don't buy the upgrade. Did this machine originally have scan/print option or are you just looking for a work-around to get features that were not paid for?
