[Misc] Xerox WC 5638

We`ve got communication error code 1 on machine WC 5638 through NVM save and restore tool. Battery was changed on software module because of power 2.8 V. No possible to change value of NVM 03-021. We`ve made USB procedure G28 and initialization of all NVM, but still device can`t connect with computer. U7 wired with Software module.
Is there any solution to connect the device with peripherials???

It`s printer and copier, machine software version - 25:054:65:212

Remove the yellow battery from software module for 20 minutes time.
Put it back and do forced altboot procedure.
Do you have the right version of the pws tool for this SBC machine ?

Turn off usb port on machine.
When usb port is off you can use it for diagnostic.
When usb port is on then customer can print through usb port.

This is exactly the GP28 procedure he claim was made.

Have a same problem.
Could not establish usb conection with tool version 25.00.012.
Install older version 25.00.011 and then was able to connect to machine.

Also for SBC machine must have at least 25.00.005 pws tool.

1) It` not possible to downgrade tool version
2) Allboot cant`t connect, just the same communication error
Also we did all procedures adriansto mentioned.

Did you try altboot procedure using Usb stick ?
The latest good pws diagnostic tool is 25.00.0011.
Do you have 5V and 3.3V on SBC board ?

Latest pws tool is 25.00.0012 as you can see in attachment.

It is possible to install older pws tool, but first, you must uninstall current version.

Did you disabled antivirus software and wifi on your laptop.

Did you tried alboot from usb stick or from PWS laptop?

Try to connect with another PWS (laptop).
