WC 4150 - copies darken with quantity

Customer complained that first copies are fine, but as more and more are created they get too dark. Could this be a sign that the drum needs to be replaced? What else should I check? I would appreciate any helpful suggestions since I am just getting familiar with this model.

      Hi sbtiti,
Perhaps the problem is in the drum cartridge.
The capacity of the drum cartridge is approximately 55,000 pages.
      Part Number is 013R00623.
Check HFSI (High Frequency Service Item) counter.
      Check Billing Meters.
Check Machine Log Book, if is available.

Post here problematic printout with good resolution to allow comments.
How it works as a scanner and a printer?

I've found the drums on these machines often need to be replaced before they reach end of life. Background is a common sign the drum needs to be replaced. Also the image density will start to fade. Your solid black areas will look more grey.
