Xerox 4112 with Error Code 078-213

Hi guyz,

I have a Xerox with an error code of 078-213, and saying High Capacity Feeder problem

Can anyone guide me as to what to check and how to approach this problem?

Check the code again. I don't find a 078-213.

The High Cap feeders are usually easy to fix.

Check lifting mechanism of tray5 - MSI
The MSI tray is lift up to slowly or dont lift up

Yes interface, it is the code shown. In the user manual, it says,
078-213 - Cause:

Paper Tray 5 (Bypass) malfunctioned.

Remedy:
Power-cycle the machine. If the tray errors are not fixed by
performing the relevant remedy, contact the Customer Support

Center.

I just need a little more detailed info as to what and how to check.

Yeah, ill try to open up the covers and check on that.

Problem found.

The gear of the motor for the lifting is broken.

Glued and fixed
