    DC 545 Password

    Hi @ all I've bought an used Xerox DocumentCenter 545 at ebay. Unfortunately there is a password set. The default Password (1111) does not work - seems to been changed. I also made an firmware update using "lpr -Plp -S[IP] [filename]", but after the (successful) update the password has not been resetted to default ;-( Can anyone help?

    enter in diagnostic and then go to other routines, select "001 Reset auditron master PIN"

    This will reset password to default 1111

      Hey xcopytech, thank you for your answer, but for that the pws software ist needed, isn't it?

          ok - i have it, thanks. I used BruteForce on the WebAdminInterface and solved the Problem. Thanks.

            try looking at the numbers that are worn out the most. I figured out the passwords on two machines that we purchased new by doing that.
