xerox 700 locked out,,can get to service mode ,has services screen with service representative in a white band but will not accept log in button to get to next screen 093-314 code..i have code to reset if I can get there

This code has to do with the Yellow Dispense Failure...
Check NVM 762-312 if it's a 3 reset to 0, if it has a 0, 1, or 2 this is normal..

Check for anything blocking the Dispenser through the inner cover to the developer housing..

can't get to the screen to reset to 0
stuck on services screen with only stored programming available, I can get a service representative white band but will not accept log in button to get to next screen

So when you try to login as a service tech you can enter everything but when your press Confirm, nothing happens?

when I press confirm it goes back to services screen but has a white band on top that says service representative, can go in and out of this with 0 for five seconds & start.

okay so the band stays white? Weird... So you cannot access the NVM once logged in a service representative?

no, only screen it will access is stored programming all other buttons just beep including log in

I think you might need a PWS to reload the System Software...

Probably there is another errors which is not displayed.
Need to hook the pws to the machine and check.

The one thing I dislike about Xerox, once you fix one problem, if there are more errors they come one at a time.. They don't show you all error codes at once.

Its a blockage through one of the colours, usually I vac out the dispense assy too, if no blockage than it could be the dispense motor! When you enter diagnostics (6789), press the tab where the key sign is next too, then tools on the top row, sytem settings, then again then nvm read/right! Reset nvm and retry!

if this is the DCP700 and you get the white service bar on top where it use to be black then you are already in service mode now all you need to do is press machine status press the tools tab and scroll down to maintenance slot and look for what ever you need. the login button is for the older xerox copiers such as the 240 thru to 7665

When you get the white service bar, what do you see below it? Screen print?
