[Dead] Belt Home Position too long

good day Xerox workcentre 7775 getting startup message ('copying and printing not available' system error power off then on and notify system administrator) went into diagnostics and got error 342-326-00 belt home position too long. went to try reset postion to 0 via >adjustment>dc131 NVM Read/Write but there are no options in there, all is just blank,.... i scrolled down in the same adjustment and saw an option that says belt position reset. did that and still nothing after reboot. still getting same error message, and cannot use printer

There are many posts on forum about this error.
    Similar machines DC240 / 250, WC76xx, etc.

i know have been doing what the other posts said, i took apart roller assembly, cleaned under roller, i do not know where the sensors are for this so that I can clean, and in the control panel when i try to reset 342-326 to 0 i get an invalid error, in fact there are no NVM code showing when i go to DC131 NVM Read/Write. I did dissasemble the transfer unit tho. This machine has a setting in it to adjust transfer, it says complete when i do it, but restart machine and same error.

I think you may be resetting the wrong NVM value. 043-326 is the fault code not the NVM value.

Try 741-105 or 106. If it's a 3 you got the right one. Careful when changing these values, always make a note of what they were before rewriting.

        Good luck
