5675 external print controller beeps

Client has a print controller that won't boot and just beeps 3 times over and over.


any ideas?

I have had this over the years and it's always been duff memory, easy to change.

That's it, I've come across this a few times now. Everything it's been this, if you try and altboot it just sits there and does nothing.

Swapped memory and beeps stopped but still only boots to 75%. Swapped power supply also to try with same result.

any ideas?

With all the swaps I put an old hdd in and when I realize that I put correct one back and all is good.

had two of these go down 30 miles apart! One was memory bad and other was power supply! Sheesh!

Ideal, I've done that before. Got bits everywhere, never had a psu give beeps yet, I'll remember that in future.
