I don't believe there are 2 different versions of creo. It is all the same type. The only difference is they sometimes mounted it to the back of the machine versus to a table monitor and keyboard assy.

Don't know if I'm too late with this, but I have a DC242 with EX260 Fiery. I know there's a Fiery install folder on the Fiery hard drive but not sure of copying that onto a CD/DVD would be sufficient for your needs. If you have the know-how on what to do with this, if you, or anyone else, could send me instructions, I'd be happy to burn it onto a disc and send it to you if that would help.

I replied to this thread earlier but it doesn't seem to have appeared on here. In the earlier reply I said that I had a DC242 connected to a Fiery EX260. I discovered a folder inside the C drive which contained the installation files for the Fiery software. I've used it to reinstall the Fiery software and it worked. If you, or anyone else, knows how I can burn the appropriate files from there onto a CD/DVD, then I will send you a copy of it - if you've not already got it from somewhere else.

I ran into a similar problem and searched for a solution for quite some time. I have the Creo disc but they dont contain a boot file.

The solution that was given to me was to obtain an image of a working HDD and copy it to the HDD inside your Creo.

                I hope this helps.
