Xerox Workcentre 7220 Fuser

i'm working on this Xerox Workcentre 7220 Fuser is showing a message "replace fuser unit"
i already replaced the fuser with a new one, the message still showing.
is there a procedure to reset the fuser counter?

You have to reset the fuser HFSI counter in diagnostics mode.

Press and hold 0 for 5 seconds or longer then pres Start.
Enter 6789 then ENTER.

Now you are in diagnostics mode.

Find the HFSI counters. I don't remember exactly what they are under in diagnostics. Just snoop around till you find them.

Each HFSI item has its own code. These are the ones you need to reset because they cause a message to pop up on the screen when they reach the preset counter and can cause the machine to go down till reset.

Fuser Count = 954-850
Fuser assy time count = 954-851
IBT assembly = 954-820
2nd BTR Unit = 954-821
IBT Cleaner = 954-822

You'll save a lot of money by just waiting till the units fail before replacing them. They'll last longer than the preset counters.
To do this, reset the counter then max out the life counter to "99999999"
