The stripper fingers keeps damaging the heat roller on this DC8000 at different points. I replaced the finger assy, but still losing heat rollers after a few prints. Wondering if there is an adjustment to correct the situation. Thanks for suggestions.

Re: Docucolour 8000 damaging heat roller
May have a bad oiler assy. Do the pages stick to the heat roll after a few prints? -
Re: Docucolour 8000 damaging heat roller
No, not really....but i think the very first time we lost a heat roller, paper actually wrapped around it before it got damaged. Subsequent ones were simply getting torn out by the fingers without any paper wrapping incidence. But i guess this is a good place to check out. My question is how do i check the oiler system?DgtalComment

Re: Docucolour 8000 damaging heat roller
First of all I'd checked if there is no excess pressure on the heat roller from it's separators. Maybe mount point of the stripper fingers assembly somehow was damaged. Unfortunately, I don't have sm for this machine so can't say more specifically.Comment

If you are printing paper above 100 gsm you can do away with the stripper fingers. Remove all the fingers and springs but leave the rest in place.
I think your oiler assy is kaput . try replacing that .a machine is only as good as your tech : source:screwtape ; the scary oneComment
