    Cleaning a DC250 color drum

I have a light patch on the edge of the print that I think is being caused by an errant fingerprint (oops) on one of my color drums. I have researched Google and found conflicting information regarding cleaning - one page said use a tightly rolled up piece of paper and another said to use 99% isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth

As I just want to remove the fingerprint from the edge of the roller, would the alcohol work or it would it instantly destroy the surface?

I have new drums on their way, but it will take a couple of weeks before they get here.

You can clean it with alcohol.

If this is an organic drum you're limited to paraffin lamp oil or alcohol (or Dispersant if any of that is still around). The lamp oil is great for adhesives, like labels, but must be rinsed off with alcohol before you re-prime the blade. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
