Vertical Streak on GR3750

Hi All,

I have been getting a vertical streak on the prints from my GR3750. Happens when using RIP or scanned artwork. Happens with all drums. Streak is visible on master as a line, and spears ink to the top of the drum -- then transfers presumably to the printed sheet. Always the same spot. Perpendicular to the direction of the paper feed. If there is no coverage in that area, then no smearing will occur. Reducing density helps.

Any suggestions? Pressure roller seems even and clean.

hmmm not knowing where the line actually is. i would check the master guides. they are little pieces of plastic that guide the master onto the drum when loading. they tend to get bent and hang down and cause the issue that you speak of. pull the drum out and look up and to the right and see if there are any hanging down there should be 4 of them
