    Riso RC6300 Wont remove master

This beast makes a master just fine, just won't pull old one off drum. Pulled it apart, all looks good. Just won't feed the old master into the nip of the remove assembly. Solenoid seems to fire fine to push fingers into position. Any ideas?

there is a one way gear that goes out in the disposal unit. are the disposal rollers rolling? or are they just sitting there? pull the d unit and check it and make sure the motor is turning the gear/ oneway.

Yes, all rollers are turning. Once in a great while it will start to feed out a master to disposal area.

all i can think of is this. is the top disposal roller fastened down? i remember the little clips on those things not always staying on. how is the clamp on the drum that you are using? there are little pieces of plastic that hold the master up a little when the clamp on the drum opens. you can adjust how close the disposal hooks are to the drum. there is a little set screw on the attached to the plunger on the solenoid. be careful not to go too close if you do adjust it.

everything looks fine, works fine. Just won't take the master off. It looks like the master curls the wrong direction when released so it can't go into the disposal tires to be removed. Any idea why that would be?

How does your clamp plate sheet look? Broken mylars will cause disposal problems.
