Oooops. I listed on previous post that the error message was a T12. It really is a T2 Paper Elevator Problem. Machine was in middle of run and upon replenishing paper supply, machine quit and went into T2 mode. I think I can rule out safety switches. Pressing "test print" a slight "purring" sound is heard for about a half second, but that is all. I have not unassembled the unit yet. Could it be a broken gear or perhaps elevator motor problem? thanks

Re: Error Code T2
If this is an older machine where the lift motor is in the back of the machine most likely you have a broken wire. From the elevator motor moving up and down the wires will flex and sometimes break internally. Make sure you meter them out. If its one of the newer machines where the motor and gearbox is in the front, check your wires and reseat connections. I've had a couple with bad motors and broken gears in that pack. Also make sure you blow out all the sensors. -

Re: Error Code T2
Sorry, it is a GR3770. The motor was defective and drawing excessive currant. As far a I can tell, the control boards were not damaged by the excessive currant pull.
