RN 2150 T98-035 code

I have been called to fix a Risograph rn 2150. When it comes on, it shows a T98-035 code. If I try to reset it, it comes back to T98-035. I have looked at the service manual and it does not list the T98-035 code. Could somebody please help.

How are you trying to reset the code? The code is listed as check-sum error on RN EEPROM.

Turn the machine off, hold the reset all button down while turning the machine back on, holding the reset key for a few seconds.
If the error returns, then you got a hardware problem. Good luck.

Thanks for your help. However, I had already held down the reset button and turn on the machine, but the code still returns. What I need help with is how to know what hardware failure I have. Thanks again.

Something is wrong with your main PCB. Either the EEPROM is loose, gone, or bad. Or a conntector or two are loose or come out. Reseat all connectors and the EEPROM.
