    [CQ] Risograph GR1700

I know this is an old timer, but so am I. The machine works fine but the image created on the master does not match the size on the original. It is smaller, like the original was fed in too fast or the master was cut too slow. Is this an internal electronic problem or mechanical? I was thinking maybe something about how fast the master is fed. Maybe a setting?
I'm sure someone has seen this before. I am mostly a copy machine and printer tech. Help or advice appreciated.

Check that the "write" roller isn't rotating freely even a little bit. You should be able to feel the drag from the drive motor if you try to rotate it by hand.
