Sorry to hijack the thread but I like allan and feel the need to warn him.

Hey allan, CA isn't the place to be right now, unless of course you are OK with paying for "illegal" immigrants to live, including their medical and 30+ family members brought here under old policies, etc. Meanwhile you are paying $1,000+ per month for your health insurance!

CA highest taxes in the USA. When all is said and done you are prob left with 30% of your pay to live.

I have relatives out there trying to sell their house and move to Nevada or Colorado. They said everyone is getting out. Not to mention the earth quakes, fires, smog, etc.

Hey maybe it's worth it to some for sunny weather & movie stars. I'll stay here on the east coast, cold weather and NO movie stars!
