Surely there must be a company looking for a really good engineer ???

Looking for work as a copier engineer / supervisor

    Hi All

I am looking for work anywhere in the UK, The Channel Islands. And worldwide. I am willing to relocate. I have 20 years experience on Ricoh and Sharp copiers. Can also fix other copier kit too.

I currently live in Warwickshire, United Kingdom.

    Any input would be great.

    My email is andybenford@hotmail.co.uk

    How about Detroit Michigan USA?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Good luck, Andy...the problem with copier jobs in USA is we've all been doing this for 20, 30, 40, 50 years and we ain't going nowhere. Having said that there won't be any copier techs in the USA by 2020, we'll all be dead or retired. I've been with my current employer for 19 years and i'm the NEW guy.
I know what I know better than anyone else knows what I know.

This is a very tough business to catch a break in, even when the economy is feeling well.

I wish you the best of luck in your search, my friend!

Thank you guys for all your comments. I have took them onboard.

I agree it is a tough market to get into. A few years ago I was offered a job in New Zealand. I wish I had taken it now.

I need to get back into the coper business. It is in my blood. So will take a job literally anywhere in the world.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

                    Steve,

The last company in the world I would ever work for is Danwood. Thanks for you advice. But I have heard some horrendous stories about this company.
