MFC 8910 Runs 1 page ok, run three pages and it jams.

I'm not real familiar with the brothers products but I do see my customers with them. And that is why I have
this one in the shop. It's from a good customer.
Like I said run 3 pages and it jams. Not crunching the paper, just stopping. I am going to spend some quality
time with this little guy tonight.
Any suggestions on what I should be looking for? I'm thinking a clutch or oneway bearing. May be a sticky
    sensor flag or solenoid?

    Thanks

Could be bad fuser. The fuser film will slip and cause a jam. Also the exit switch can hang up that is by the fuser.

sounds like a sticking paper feed roller solenoid foam. try removing the side cover and watch it run for a while. a slipping film is usually indicated by a blurry or fuzzy look to the print.

if its the foam, just scape it off completely and clean both sides.
        good luck.

Thank you all for your replies. I will be getting into this machine tonight or tomorrow.
I will post the info requested. And yes pulling the covers off and watching it run will
be the next step. I have seen those foam pads cause problem on other machines as well.

          Thanks for the advice
