    Brother MFCL9670cdn ADF jam

We have a one year old brother MFCL9670cdn that jams when making a copy thru the ADF. When making a letter size copy the paper runs thru the ADF says ADF paper jam and prints out a perfect copy. You can reboot the machine and the error goes away. Even with the error showing you can print from the computer without issue. I have done a factory reset on the machine and it worked fine for a couple of days. We are swapping in a loaner machine for the time being and bringing it into the shop. Any ideas are appreciated.

I checked for obstructions in the ADF paper path, and sensor flags were in place when I was there last week. They just called back this morning and the boss is taking the loaner to them, but will check it out further once it is back in the shop

We brought the machine back into the shop, plugged it in and it is working fine. They have traded this for a larger machine so we will play around with it here to see if we can duplicate the issue. Maybe a possible power issue as the machine was in an old, restored house? When the boss picked up the machine it jammed on him saying ADF Jam. Maintenance mode 77 shows A300 document jam.
