Toner Reset new Brother Series like L6910, L3890, L9670

Anyone figured out the procedure for the new series?

We have a lot of brother in contract and sometimes if the new toner is arriving late I call the customer and explain how to reset and squeeze a little more pages of the empty toner since there's always headroom for some more pages.

They have chip so without new chip old tricks won't work. I'm interested if anyone can contribute workaround but my logic says No.

Yeah I also noticed that all new series are using chips now (but I think I accessed the reset menu with some earlier series that uses chips like MFC-L3???). That's not totally bad like customer never really bothered resetting the drums wich leads to issues in MPS enviroments.

Currently haven't found a way either, but so far we only sold a few dozen of them for now.
I assume there is a new way that just hasnt found the public yet, old ones with chips also could be reset.

You could try open toner door completely, now follow this press the Back button ( touch Area) & X Button ( touch Area) together for 2 secs the release and then press back button that would open Reset menu - and you should See TNR-STR - TNR-STD - str is a starter toner - don't press this - do the STD - thats standard one. if this is not working then i guess its only a chip change. hope this helps

Did you do that on new models successfully or just speculate?
