    Error 76: fixing heater open
Error 77: power supply shut off because of error 75 or 76

It sounds to me like you need a new fuser, at the very least a repair to something in the fixing heater circuit. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

In my coner of the world we have a very unreliable power supply, power outages and fluctuations almost evry day and fax 2850 fuser error 76 and 77
are common. Anyway, press the keys in this order with in 2 secs; menue, *, 2, 8, 6, 4 to display service mode screen/display, then press 82 to display error code, press stop key and then press 99 to reset error code. If error goes away good, if it still remains or comes after a short time replace with new fuser unit. Some times it can be the power supply board or the main pcb thats faulty, make sure you have both boards to test the fuser if its good and to properly identify the faulty section or part and replacing the correct part.
