    canon lbp5960

    Hi guys, I have a problem on a Canon color printer lbp5960. is totally dead, no signal. Since I do not have such a printer to try to replace the electronic information board please if anyone has had this problem.

      When you say totally dead, there's no power??

          Hold down the Online Key and the Cancel Job Key and turn the printer on.
          then hit the > Settings Key

          You should see service mode on the screen (you may have to hit enter key first). Then use the up and down keys to scroll through the menu until you get to FUNCTION, press enter, then you should see Clear ERR, Hit enter again then restart the machine.
          Not sure if that will clear your particular error, but have a go and see what happens. Good luck with it.
