Re: equitrac
Looks like Equitrac is an accessory that uses the FIH (Foreign Interface Harness) connector on that printer. The FIH connector is on the back of the printer on the formatter (where the network cable is) and it is the top-most connector. It looks like the old PS/2 connector. You'll probably need to remove that accessory and maybe do either a Cold Reset or an NVRAM Init to get it back to factory. -
Re: equitrac
There is software that is loaded (FIH.exe) on a pc that enables or disables the FIH on the 4730mfp. The software is available from hp webite, looks like the same site for drivers and firmware. When this software is used it requires a pin number, if you don't know the pin number you would have to contact hp support to be able to disable the FIH port. The service manual didn't show that any resets in the printer would disable the FIH settings. But you can always try the resets first.Comment

Re: equitrac
besides the FIH cable on HP devices , if Equitrac appears on the mfp display then equitrac is embedded in the mfp, you would have to contact equitrac to uninstall, or if it was installed by your organization , someone knows how to uninstall.Comment

Re: equitrac
Don't know if this helps... see page 66 of the manual below.
Uninstalling PCCTo remove the PCC application from the MFP, follow these steps:1 Open a web browser and browse to the default web page for the MFP, http://, where is the IP address for the physical MFP.2 Click Login in the upper right corner of the page. The login page opens. Enter your administrator UserName and Login Password. The default login for the MFP is User Name admin with no password. The Web Image Monitor page opens
