[CQ] Laserjet 3800 Color misregistration On Cyan and Magenta

This printer was shipped in great shape. When customer got it, the bottom 2 cartridges (Magenta and Cyan) were off about 1/8 of an inch. I changed the transfer belt and the cartridges. Did a full calibration still no luck...I tried to do the registration function but it said tray 2 was not usable... Any ideas would be very helpful...

    Did you replace the yellow?
I'm thinking the calibration/registration might start at the top and work down, meaning it starts with the black then moves to the yellow and so on.
If the yellow has an issue, it could screw up the cyan and magenta
Just a thought. but I don't know for sure.

Try disable cartridge mode and put each cartridge in one at a time.
They should return that printer it is notorious for many problems. IMO...

Two off the top of my head... continuous calibration and the cartridge locks breaking. POS REALLY!
