    Designjet T790 at 93%

I am working on a T790. It had a bad service station which I replaced. The manual told me that I had to reset calibration flag and drop sensor first.
Now it stops at 93% and clicks. Can I put the old drop sensor back in. I cannot get in to service mode at this time. I only have one of these and do
not know a lot about it

    Thanks Roger

    What's clicking, the service station?

I would remove the print heads, and then unmount the service station but hold it in position.. not up against the carriage rails but a little lower, and turn the printer on. See if it initializes. If it does, then you've got the service station mounted incorrectly. I've done this more than once.. it's a bear to get it up into position correctly.

And yes, you can put the old drop detect in, but I doubt it's the cause of the problem.
