    HP P2035 Front Cover Issue

Has anyone seen an issue with the hp p2035 where after you replace the toner the message to close the front cover keeps displaying? Have a customer who purchased a cheap one and I took a quick look but did not see anything wrong so told them to exchange it since they just purchased it. Well after they replaced the toner again on a new machine same message comes up. I could be missing something extremely simple but it's not popping out at me.

There is a door open/closed sensor on the left hand side. If you take the left cover off, you'll see it. Maybe it's dislodged or the plastic arm that engages it on the front cover is broken?

If they forced an 05X cartridge in there, that might also prevent the door from closing. only the 05A fits in the 2035, but they don't listen to me.
it's not like I have to fix the things they break, or anything of that nature.

Checked on both of those suggestions. Toner was correct and the front cover switch was working normally it just never clears the error. Customer was not really worried about it and just said they would go buy a new one. Thank you for the help though.
