    HP Color Laserjet CM1312 with transfer belt bumps all across

    HP Color Laserjet CM1312 Got this machine for servicing for bad quality images and found that the transfer belt is damaged with "bumps" all scattered on it,
    the customer is OK with purchasing a new one but I'd hate if it gets the same damage again.

    P.S. I don't see any visible culprits for this.

      Interesting. Looks like high voltage arcing.Throw it away and buy a new printer.

          I've never seen anything like that. Could you read the customer... does he look like maybe he knows what happened and isn't saying?

              I can't tell from the picture, but, are the bumps poking upwards or downwards?

                  I had a ricoh mpc 2051 do exactly the same thing could never figure out what actually happened
