[Jamming] HP Laserjet 5 jams after about 20 pages

HP LaserJet 5 jams after about 20 pages. The leading page stops right before entering the exit rollers that feed the paper out of machine. The second page will stop right after passing the paper sensor under the toner cartridge. The papers that jam have no creases or folds. Tried cleaning paper pick-up roller and paper tray roller. Also cleaned registration roller. I have noticed a couple of small nicks on leading edge of second page that stops after passing paper sensor. Any ideas? Thanks.

Replace the paper output assy (probably only avail as refurbished)

Also check the small gear/coupling that drives the fuser. Teeth on gear break, very common on this old workhorse.
