    Hp z3200 thoughts

    Hi there,
I have a Canon IPF8300 that is going on the blink. Has been for quite some time. the machine is only six years old and I have changed boards and print heads more often than I think I should have to. My old Hp's never have problems. Does anyone have any thoughts about the Z3200? I am looking for something to print quality fine art with. I typically run canvas and fine art watercolor paper through my Canon so I am looking for something to possibly replace it. Also if this is a good machine does anyone know of any good discounts that are running on it like maybe some show discounts or something like that.
    Thanks for any advice.
    David

5 year warranty on the head... it's a different technology than the Canon or HP... this is a piezo print head.. no heat needed to create the print.. therefore the heads last way longer... but yes the heads can be replaced

they have a PK ( photo K ) and MK ( matte K ) and yes these ARE the photo line printers. they can handle many different medias including canvas / vinyl even WOOD if 1.5mm ( or less ) thick

That sounds pretty good. I saw your link said Lexjet in it. That is actually where I got my IPF8300 and I get my canvas from them as well. I see Epson is offering 1000.00 off.

Thanks Kiran. The P8000 that Phil mentioned looks nice.

                Hi Phil,
Wow, the thing will print on wood? Never had something like that. I know I asked about the PH being able to be replaced and you said yes but I wasn't very clear in my question. I meant can it or they be replaced by me? Sorry I didn't clarify.
                Thanks,
                David
