Officejet 6700 pickup rollers inop

The pickup roller arm comes down and hits the paper, but I dont see them rotating, so no paper is getting moved.

Found some articles online for models close to this, but the mechanism seems different than what this problem is caused by in them.

Unless this is a training exercise, better to just replace it. Not worth the time.
