    HP CLJ 3800 Color registration off horizontally

    Attached shows magenta and cyan registration off, to the side, instead of vertical.
    The door linkage that locks the cartridges in place as it's closed were bent/broken.
    I found a way to keep the locking lever in the closed position.
    I ran Full Calibration with no change. OEM cartridges in use. Any ideas? Thanks.

      How many prints are on your transfer unit? I've had worn transfer belts cause this, sensors don't get a good reading of the pro-con patches on "faded" belt. Since it's happening on more than one color, I would suspect that. Have also had to replace cartridges early for this issue.

          Try replacing the magenta & cyan cartridges. Like FrohnB said. Have replaced "good" cartridges due to this.
