    [Dead] HP LJ M604 No Power

    The customer said that it lost power a few months ago then they let it sit for a few days the it powered back on and lasted a month or so. Now they were running a job from there PC and during printing it powered off and will not come back on. I checked the outlet and power cord. I suspect the controller (Formatter board). Is this a common problem with these machines ?

      check the LVPS to see if fuses are blown first... doubt the formatter bd

          Agree, check the fuses on the power supply board. If fuses are good, then replace the power supply board. Also, doubt the formatter board is bad.
