I have just install a pm kit on this hp 4050 and i can't rest it can anyone help me

Turn printer off
Hold down [-item ] and [ -value ] while turning printer on
"reset maintenance count" appears followed by "initializing" followed by "ready"

I did all that but all the printer tells me is count....initia....and ready that's all

That is what it is supposed to tell you. That is the reset.

Follow steps Fixthecopier gave you, then print a configuration page. (Press MENU until "INFORMATION MENU" appears, then press ITEM until PRINT CONFIGURATION appears, and finally press SELECT to print a configuration page). On the top left it should say: "Pages Since Last Maintenance = ####". The number of pages should be low if you've reset it. The maintenance message would also go away after you performed the reset.

Siga los pasos que dice Fixthecopier, pues imprime una pagina de configuracion. (Empuje Menu hasta vea "INFORMATION MENU", entonces empuje Item hasta demuestra PRINT CONFIGURATION, y finalmente empuje Select para imprime pagina de configuracion). En la izquierda dice "Pages Since Last Maintenance = ". La cuantidad de los paginas va ser muy poco si hace correcto. Espero que esta infomacion le ayuda.
