The user guide says that means it's processing a cleaning page. Have you tried resetting the product? Unplug the product while it's turned on. Leave it off for 1 minute, then plug the power cord back in. Beyond that, is there maybe a piece of paper jammed somewhere?

theres has to be some light blinking, normally when trying to get to ready state mean the fuser trying to warm up, either not getting hot enough or not at all. check to see if fuser feels hot, has to reach a certain temp even in sleep mode it checked the conductivity of the fuser. even though its doesnt stay hot when sleeping.

also possible bad drum, passed the life of the drum. might be time to exchange it

      good luck

if its the formatter as you suspect then there nothing to do but to buy another formatter.

unless you know how to program them

Trash it and buy a new one.
