    Designjet T-2500 exit jamming.

To start with,I have never worked on a wide format before. Out printer guy is on vacation so I had to go look at this machine. It seems like if it ejects out the bottom it works, but if it ejects out the stacker it jams up. As far as I can tell when it cuts the paper on the right end it does not sound right, not smooth. The paper seems to hang up on the right end. When it jams the right corner is still down in the guides, the rest of it ejected out. I dont see any kind of obstruction in the guides. The error codes I am getting are 81:01 86-01 and 79:02Does this kind of problem sound familiar? I am going to go back there tomorrow and try again.

It sounds like it's not cutting the paper completely. Run the scan axis test from the diagnostics menu and see what the result is. My guess is there is either paper or a foreign object interfering with the cutter.

If you're not familiar with this printer I would leave it to someone who is. It's not one I would want to learn on the job with.

Yes ,I did not want to learn on the job either but I was sent there. When I went back I cleaned the rail the cutter cuts against and a lot of ink and junk came off it. I wouldnt think that was the problem but in the tests afterwards and customer tests it worked fine. I will keep my fingers crossed.
