    [Error Code] M806

    Hello All,
Our M806 is displaying a 50,4 fuser error. I went into the screen and it is showing "fuser ps driving circuit failure" I checked through the troubleshooting sheet and come to the part where it suggests that it could be the LVPS or the DC controller.
Is there anything I could check to confirm the power supply is working?

    Thanks

have you tried using a multi meter?

use your Schematics to determine what voltage readings you should get... if you don't get the proper reading you have your answer.

You'd have to find the signal from the DC controller, which turns on the fuser voltage. I doubt you'll be able to find it... their manuals usually aren't that detailed. I'd say you've got a 50/50 chance of it being either one. My solution: tell the customer they're both needed.

Of course, that would suck if it turned out to be neither one of them, and the customer wouldn't pay for them.
