Have a HP m525 with a slit glass that has come loose and slid out of place. My question is :: Dont see a replacement top for the scanner. Just the whole scanner assembly.
Any tips or tricks on this ?

If you still have the glass can't you just glue it back in place? Not familiar with that model but on the older models both the slit and platen glass are stuck to the scanner housing anyway lol

I wanted to but the top cover plastic is cracked and won't hold or glue back
Was hoping to only order the scanner top cover that hlds the glass but only see the entire scanner unit in the parts catalogue.
And not sure if it includes the top glass/slit glass holderComment

Scanner-assy is the complete scanner with glasses, cables, etc...
