HP P4015 13.01 jam

Guys,
I'm relatively new to in-depth HP stuff. I have a 4015 with jams from tray 3 (the extra cassette), paper stops right before the registration rollers. It will feed from tray 2 without issue. Gives a jam error of 13.01 (which pulls up as bypass jam). I took the entire paper path apart and cleaned sensors and tested motors and clutches. Everything checks out.

Rollers okay in tray 3?

The P4xxx series are starting to have issues with solenoids as well. The additional trays aren't repairable from the one I tried taking apart. Might just not have had enough time. Can't remember.

Since the 13.01 comes up as a tray 1 jam. I went ahead and just ordered the whole tray 3 assembly. Hopefully that will take care of it.
My worry is it's a timing issue. Since it stops right before the registration rollers behind tray 1 and the reg paper sensor is after the rollers.
