Re: HP ColorLaserJet MFP M577
98.00.02 Corrupt data in the solutions volume
Data corruption has occurred in the solutions volume.
Recommended action:
Turn the product off, and then on.
Use the Format Disk item in the Preboot menu.
Reload the firmware.
Did you order a new/unused HDD? Did it come with instructions on installing it?Comment

Re: HP ColorLaserJet MFP M577
I was trying to Format disk in the preboot menu but didn't help! The HDD's its not new/unused, i will try with new one. If the size is under 320 GB is that a problem?Comment

Re: HP ColorLaserJet MFP M577
When it comes to HDDs, I NEVER order refurbished/used ones.
5851-6712 - 320GB Encrypted HDD kit
It should come with instructions on installing it. I remember installing a few of these and after it's physically installed into the machine, you are placed into the Preboot menu and you have to unlock (or something) the drive. I don't remember exactly, but, I vaguely remember something like that before the drive will work.Comment

Is it matter the brand of HDD, if I use different brand from this kit?Comment
